UFC® Fight Night Stockholm, which went on sale today, is fast becoming the must-see event of 2015 and the event just got even bigger, as the UFC today announced the latest world-class match up, Phil Davis vs. Ryan Bader.

As no. 5 ranked Phil “Mr Wonderful” Davis (13-2-0) vs. no. 8 ranked Ryan “Darth” Bader (19-4-0) is added to the roster, alongside Gustafsson vs. Johnson and Henderson vs. Mousasi, the event will see six of the UFC’s® finest light heavyweight contenders go to battle on Saturday 24th January at the Tele2 Arena.

Both fighters have recently made waves in the light heavyweight division with wins over Glover Teixeira and Ovince St. Preux respectively. With Davis, fighting out of San Diego USA, winning four of his last five match ups and Bader, fighting out of Temple AZ, USA, having a three fight win streak behind him, both athletes will be looking to solidify their position on January 24th as one of the top ranked fighters in the light heavyweight division.

“I'm going out to get this win and that is exactly what is going to happen” says Bader. “Phil is a great fighter and a win against him will keep my momentum going in 2015.”

“I'm excited to fight in front of the passionate fans of Sweden” Bader continues. “The fans there are amazing, I can't imagine how electric the stadium will be. I'll be looking forward to feeding off of the crowd and putting on a good show for these fans.”

As well as focusing on his own matchup, Bader will have a close eye on the headline bout between Alexander Gustafsson and Anthony Johnson:

“This is a great fight between two amazing fighters in our division and I will be watching as a fan of the UFC just like everyone else in the stadium. I'm looking forward to it!”

Tickets for the historic UFC FIGHT NIGHT®: GUSTAFSSON vs. JOHNSON event are available to the general public from today via AXS.com/UFC and are priced from 500SEK.

VIP Experience packages are also on sale and include the opportunity to step inside the Octagon™ and raise the UFC championship belt, coveted floor seats, hospitality and an official event poster signed by the fighters.
