FIRSTFIGHTING Championship: Full Force is set to go down on February 20.
One of Scotland's top promotions is building a top pro card to compliment it's amateur card showcasing some of the UK's top young talent.
One fight that could steal the show is an outstanding featherweight fight between Craig McIntosh and Paull McBain.
The fight is a rematch, with McBain emerging victorious first time out back in 2012.
The main event between Chris Bungard and Kieran Malone on February 20 has had fans talking due to the bitter war of words between the two. But there has been no need for controversy surrounding the match up between McIntosh and McBain, which should be a corker.
Despite defeat in their first fight, McIntosh insists that he has learned his lesson heading in to the rematch.
Speaking to Kingdom MMA, he said: “Losing to Paull highlighted to me that I was not training appropriately for the level I was fighting at.
“I think I was also taking for granted the feeling of winning. Losing that fight helped a lot and made me realise how much I hate to lose. So my motivation is really just to give it 100 per cent and get the victory.”
McIntosh is also adamant that there is no extra pressure on him given the previous result. He said: “I expect to win the fight in every department.
“There is always pressure you put on yourself but I've always dealt with the mental side of things very well. I believe in myself 100 per cent and I'm just going to go out and have fun.
“I will only get the chance to compete a certain amount of times in my life and I want to make the most of each one. I often wonder about other fighters motivations but I got into martial arts because I love fighting. “There's no point in doing it if you don't enjoy it.”
FFC: Full Force takes place on Friday February 20 from the Alona Hotel in Motherwell.
