BAMMA have announced the signing of three new fighters today, as bantamweights Alan Philpott and Ed Arthur, and featherweight prospect Paul Douglas all look to build their careers under Europe's flagship MMA organisation.
Ed Arthur has so far gone undefeated in his MMA career and he signs with BAMMA are improving his record to 5-0 against Martin Akhtar. The NFM Windsor & MMAX Gym product has already racked up three wins on the BAMA stage in Ben Rees, Nathaniel Wood and Michael Cutting. Upon signing with the promotion, Arthur put his fellow bantamweights on notice: "I'm happy to be signing with BAMMA, I'm going to take over the division, take over BAMMA and make it look easy."
Alan "The Apprentice" Philpott fights out of IMMA/Next Generation N.I. and is also a team mate of BAMMA 17s Conor 'Da Crook' Cooke. Philpott brings a solid 13-6 to BAMMA's bantamweight division and he is thrilled to be a part of an organisation that he has supported throughout the years: "I have been a big fan of BAMMA for many years now, I have seen it gong from strength to strength, they have a pool full of top talent and I can't wait to show my skills. It's not a matter if I belong there it's a matter if the rest belong there with me."
