Heavyweight Konstantin Erokhin Set to make Debut Against Viktor Pesta at UFC on FOX 14 in Sweden

Highly touted, Russian prospect Konstantin Erokhin (9-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) has signed with the UFC and will make his octagon debut against Viktor Pesta (9-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) at UFC on FOX 14 in Sweden.
UFC on FOX 14 takes place Jan. 24 at the 30,000 seat Tele2 Arena in Stockholm, Sweden. The event is headlined by Alexander Gustafsson vs Anthony 'Rumble' Johnson, who meet to decide the next Light-heavyweight contender. Tickets for the event go on sale November 28th.
Since losing his professional debut, 32-year old Konstantin Erokhin has put together as good of a run as possible outside of the major promotions, racking up wins over WSOF Heavyweight Dave Huckaba, Richard Odoms who was signed by the UFC but released before his debut, former Strikeforce title challenger Brett Rogers, Pride and UFC vet Sokoudjou, and a host of tough Russians.
A champion in Russian hand-to-hand combat, Erokhin is a lethal counter puncher, who has finished 8 of his 9 opponents by KO / TKO with Brett Rogers being the only man to take him the distance.
He will face off against Viktor Pesta who made his UFC debut in a losing effort at UFC Fight Night - Munoz vs. Mousasi where he was defeated by Rusian Magomedov by unanimous decision.
A former Gladiator Championship Fighting Heavyweight Champion, the 24-year-old from the Czech Republic is the first fighter from his homeland to fight in the UFC. A pro since 2010, he has take 7 of his 9 career victories inside the distance with 4 wins by TKO / KO and 3 wins by submission.
