With a new long-term contract signed, and a third different opponent for September 5th, King Mo is looking to fight.
by Andreas Georgiou - @AGeorgiouMMAKing Mo has committed his long-term future to Bellator, but he isn't looking past his new opponent Dustin Jacoby (10-3) for their September 5th clash at Bellator 123.
Mo's two previous opponents, Tom DeBlass and Marcus Sursa were both forced to withdraw with injury problems.
“This was one of the easiest decisions I could have made,” Mo said. “After everything that went down over the last six or seven months, I didn’t think this was something that would ever happen, but when Coker came on board with Bellator, everything changed. This is where I want to be. I don’t care who I fight, when it is, or where it is. I get paid to fight, and that’s what I’m going to do for Bellator. That’s it.”
Mo holds a 4-3 record inside the cage, losing to LHW champion Emanuel Newton twice, as well as a very close decision loss to Quinton "Rampage" Jackson at Bellator 120. However he holds notable victories over Seth Petruzelli, Mikhail Zayats, and Jacob Noe. Although a rematch with Rampage is high up on his priorities, King Mo is looking to take out the entire LHW division on his way back to the top.
