England's Tom Watson takes on Rafael Natal at UFC 183

A classic England vs Brazil match up has been added to UFC 183.

England's Tom Kong Watson will hope to make it two wins in a row when he takes on 11-fight UFC vet, Brazil's Rafael Natal at UFC 183.

UFC 183 takes place Jan. 31 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, in Las Vegas and is headlined by the returning Anderson Silva who takes on Nick Diaz in a middleweight bout. Watson vs Natal is expected to be part of the events preliminary card.

Fighting for the sixth time in his UFC career, Tom Watson enters the bout on the back of a decision victory over Sam Alvey at UFC Fight Night – Bader vs St. Preux in August. The unanimous decision victory over Alvery likely saved Watson’s UFC career, with the Brit coming into the fight on the back of two straight loses to Thales Leites and Nick Catone. At 2-3 in the UFC, the former Bamma Middleweight champion could still find himself out of a job with a loss at UFC 183.

His opponent, Natel enters the bout on the back of a hard-fought, split decision victory over Chris Camozzi. Having dropped two fights in a row to Ed Herman and Tim Kennedy respectively before entering the bout with Camozzi, Natal likely extended his career with a win over Camozzi, the same way Watson did with a win over Alvey. He could also still find his career in danger with a loss.
