Ryan Couture joins the cast as Bellator 124 card is finalised

Bellator MMA will return to the state of Michigan for Bellator 124 from the Compuware Arena on Friday, September 12th. The event will be headlined by a Light Heavyweight Title fight as reigning Bellator Champion Emanuel Newton will defend his belt against Joey Beltran.

The night will also feature the Bellator Light Heavyweight Tournament Final between Liam McGeary and Kelly Anundson and a full preliminary card. Ryan Couture makes his Bellator debut against Michigan's John Schulz. Couture is another fighter who fought under president Scott Coker in the Strikeforce banner.

Michigan’s Ben Lagman returns from a year long lay off to face American Top Team's Sabah Homasi. Two undefeated fighters Ben Reiter and Shamir Garcia meet in a middleweight bout. Garcia has recorded four wins by knockout, but tough Reiter has finished seven fighters in the very very first round. Thomas Vasquez looks to bounce back from debut loss to Marcos Galvao, when he squares off with Mike Hernandez who is riding a two-fight win streak.

Knockout specialist Adrian Henderson will put his skills to the test against Michigan’s own undefeated Leroy Johnson. Bellator debutants, Justin Jaynes and Reuben Baraic will face off in a featherweight battle. Closing out the preliminary Michigan boy Adrain Hadribeaj makes his professional debut against Mike Hamida and fellow native Eric Ramirez faces Cortez Phelia in a featherweight bout.
