An look at Contender Promotions' big year so far...

Having worked alongside some of the biggest names in the business, Garry set his sights on creating opportunities for his fighters to become some of the best in Europe.
So far this year, two Contender Promotions fighters Jamie Bates and Mickey Terrill have competed for SuperKombat – Europe's leading kickboxing league.

The Contender Promotions team are currently focused on their upcoming "Fightstar Hunt" a talent search series, which will start in one of kickboxing's biggest territories, Holland. Fighters from Holland will compete in The Hunt for an opportunity to fight under Contender Promotions banner in the UK.
The tryouts are to be held at the VOS Gym HOLLAND HOUSE OF LEGENDS on August 30th and Bell has promised this is only the beginning.
Also this year, they announced a partnership with thaiboxingstore to provide all fighters on the July 19th with Yokkao fighting gear.
With big things still to come this year, including the Nathan Cuthbertson memorial tournament. As well as a rumoured UK and Ireland Grand Prix, it's safe to say that the promotion are going from strength to strength.
Huge fighters such as Daniel Sam and Paul Daley are still working with Contender Promotions, however even with star power on the roster, Bell isn't afraid to let the younger talent showcase their abilities.
Contender Promotions have had a huge 2014 so far, and President Garry Bell has assured everyone, that things are only going to get better.
