Bellator President Scott Coker releases statement on release of War Machine

Bellator President Scott Coker issues a statement regarding Jon Koppenhaver/War Machine

by Andreas Georgiou - @AGeorgiouMMA

“We have a zero tolerance policy here at Bellator when it relates to any form of domestic violence, and after learning of this latest incident involving Jon Koppenhaver, War Machine, Bellator is releasing him from him promotional contract with the organization.”

For those of you unaware, Koppenhaver was in a relationship with (naughty movies) actress Christy Mack.

This isn't the first time War Machine has been in trouble with company officials. During his UFC run, he was released after making controversial comments on he death of Evan Tanner.

He was released from Bellator during his first stint in the organisation due to controversial comments about President Barrack Obama.

Koppenhaver took to Twitter late last night about his situation: @WarMachine170  "I can't believe this...I must be cursed."

Having burned so many bridges with major organisations it is hard to see if War Machine will ever return to MMA.
